Love Stories
María
This is María’s motherhood journey with us — first her maternity session while she was expecting Lucila, and later Lucila’s baptism. For us, these stories are the most meaningful ones: when a family comes back because they felt seen the first time, and we get to keep documenting every new chapter. It’s such a privilege to walk alongside them as their family grows, to be invited into their home, and to be trusted again and again. We hope we can continue to be there for everything that comes next.

A Quiet Beginning
María’s maternity session was all about ease and real life. We met at her home, kept it short and light, and let her spend time with her oldest, María, in the garden. No big setup, no overposing — just her, pregnant, moving, playing, holding her daughter while I photographed around them. The focus was on connection more than on “perfect” portraits, and that gave us images that feel warm, familiar, and very true to this season.

Gathered for Lucila
Lucila’s baptism happened in the same house, which already made it feel like a continuation of the story. It was an intimate celebration with just their close family. They had set up the ceremony in the garden, but it started raining — and I loved how no one panicked. They simply moved everything inside and kept going, smiling. The atmosphere stayed warm, close, and joyful. María has an amazing eye for design, so the table was beautifully styled, colorful, and thoughtful. Every detail felt intentional. It’s one of those families that remind us why we do documentary work: because days like this deserve to be remembered just as they were.
